1. Cream together 0.75 cup Crisco (135g), 1.25 cup brown sugar (220g), 2 tbsp milk, and 1 tbsp vanilla.
2. Add in 1 egg and mix.
3. In a separate bowl, mix together 1.75 cup all-purpose flour (250g), 1 tsp salt (7g), and 0.75 tsp baking soda.
4. Fold dry ingredients into wet until just incorporated.
5. Add in 1 cup chocolate chips.
6. Use a medium scoop to portion out cookies onto a baking sheet. Bake at 375°F for 14 minutes.
