= Recipe
1. In a small bowl, combine 0.5 cup oil, 0.5 cup blue cheese, 3 tbsp balsamic or cider vinegar, 1 tsp salt, and 1 large shallot (minced). Set aside.
2. Before serving, combine 1 bunch watercress (stems removed), 2 heads Boston lettuce (torn into pieces), and 2 ripe pears (peeled and sliced). Allow to marinate in dressing for about 15 minutes. Add 0.75 cup peppered pecans and serve.
