= Recipe
1. Combine 390-420 ml warm water, 1 tsp honey, sugar, or agave, 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil, and 1.5 tsp instant yeast in a large bowl. Add 500 g white bread flour and 2 tsp fine sea salt and mix until a dough forms. Knead until smooth and elastic.
2. Shape and place in a greased 9x5 loaf tin. Cover and let rest at room temperature for 45 minutes.
3. Place a vessel of water in the bottom of the oven and preheat to 230°C (445°F) — the steam helps the crust. Bake for 10 minutes with steam, then remove the water vessel and continue baking for 6-8 minutes until golden brown.
